Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, all of our physicians are currently accepting new patients.

What should I bring to my first appointment?
Before your first appointment, you should go to the Patient Resources page and click on the "Patient Instructions and Forms." Complete the Registration Form and the New Patient Medical History Form. Print and bring these completed forms along with your current insurance card to your first visit.

Where do I park?
You may park in any of our restricted spaces on the sides of our building. In the event these spaces are full, you may park in the parking structure directly behind our facility adjacent to the Providence Medical Building. If you need directions to our office go to the "Contact Us" page on our website and click on "Office Address and Map".

Can I make urgent care or same day appointments?
Yes. We have time set aside for urgent care and same day visits. We do our best to accommodate patients based on their specific needs.

What should I do if I have an "after- hour" emergency?
If you have a life-threatening emergency, of course, we recommend you call 9-1-1 or go directly to the emergency room. For other medical issues necessitating urgent consultation, our answering service will page one of our doctors to contact you. Our after- hours, emergency number is 714-447-5148.

What is your medication refill policy?
Requests for prescription refills, either by patient or pharmacy, will be handled within the same business day, whenever possible. We may not be able to renew routine prescriptions or narcotic prescriptions after-hours as your medical records are not available for review.

Do you see patients for acute non-gynecological illnesses (ie. sore throat, flu)?
It is not our standard practice to treat illnesses not related to our practice. We recommend you contact a primary care physician or be seen at an urgent care center.

What are your hospital affiliations?
We are affiliated with St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton and also have our own private out-patient surgery center, the Valencia Surgery Center.

What type of health insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most PPO insurance plans. Please contact our office to confirm your plan. We do not participate with HMO plans.
