Young Teen

Adolescence is the transitional phase from childhood to adulthood. 11- 18 year olds face many special physiological, mental and emotional events and challenges.   Primary changes include the onset of menstruation, hormonal changes and awareness of personal sexuality.   While most medical care is parental driven, this is an ideal opportunity to begin educating young women about their own preventive health care.
